Jamie O'Hara scoffed at Erik ten Hag's bold claims about his impact at Manchester United.
In a recent interview, the Red Devils manager argued that he should be considered second only to Manchester City's Pep Guardiola in terms of his success in English football since he arrived at Old Trafford.
The Dutch coach, who recently signed a one-year contract extension at the club, claimed that, based on silverware, he has come closest to challenging the Spanish coach in his two years at Old Trafford.
Ten Hag has won two trophies since taking charge of Man United in 2022, including last season's FA Cup, the second most of any coach in England after Guardiola, who has lifted four in this time.
He told The Times: “Of course [I feel stronger]. This club didn’t win trophies, before I came, for six years.
"In two years, after Guardiola, we won the most trophies in English football. So we are in a strong position.”

While the 54-year-old admitted there remains much work to be done to turn his team into title contenders, he also highlighted United's victories over their rivals during his tenure.
He added: “Look, we can beat every opponent. Not one time, more than one time against City and also against Liverpool."
But Jamie O'Hara was less than impressed by the Dutchman's reasoning here, as he slammed the suggestion whilst appearing on talkSPORT Breakfast alongside Shebahn Aherne and Dean Saunders,
After Aherne informed him of Ten Hag's comments, the talkSPORT host appeared incredulous, responding: “Oh, come on, Shebahn!
"I mean, we've got to start all this again with Man United? He's done alright. He's won some trophies.
“They're Man United. They've spent about £800million. So they're entitled to win some!”

The former Tottenham and Wolves midfielder continued to blast Ten Hag's comments, adding: “Is he having a laugh?
"They finished eighth didn't they last season? It was the worst season they've ever had in Premier League history.”
Aherne attempted to reason with O'Hara by pointing to Man City's heavy investment in their squad, before emphasising United's FA Cup success, but he remained unsympathetic.
Rejecting his co-host's rationale, he asked: "Have you seen the way Manchester City play? And they win the league every season, for the last four seasons.”
O'Hara then played down the FA Cup victory, adding: “Arsenal won the FA Cup, you know. Wigan won the FA Cup, didn't they?
“It doesn’t make you a great [team]. Come on!”
While Saunders admitted that there was truth in Ten Hag's claims, he agreed with O'Hara's concerns: “Factually, he's probably correct.
"But we've watched them play and they were shocking at times, and in chaos.
"And a lot of their players are picking their wages up without putting the effort in. It's not all his fault, by the way.”
O'Hara also pointed to the question marks surrounding Marcus Rashford's future at the club, and the turbulent relationship between Ten Hag and returning winger Jadon Sancho among the other issues which could hamper United going forward.
He remarked: “I still think he's got loads of problems there for this season. Loads of problems.
“Rashford- that's a massive problem for them. Jadon Sancho's an issue. You've got players there with no legs in midfield.”
Despite O'Hara being quick to shut down the Red Devils boss' comments, Aherne argued that fans of 20-time English champions can still feel optimistic about the club's long-term future.
Pointing to their recent transfer activity, the talkSPORT presenter said: “[Joshua] Zirkzee’s signed and Lenny Yoro’s signed and they're both young players.

"But they are talking about maybe another four or five transfer windows, that's when you'll see the project start to come to fruition."
“It's not going to happen this window, obviously."
