Mykhailo Mudyrk appears to have taken John Obi Mikel's advice by sporting a new look ahead of the new season.
The Ukrainian showed signs of finding his best form in the second half of last season following his £89m move from Shakhtar Donetsk in January 2023.
Things have not exactly gone to plan for the 23-year-old during his 18-month spell at Stamford Bridge despite regularly shining for his national team.
But now it appears that Mudryk means business after seemingly taking Mikel’s advice.
The former Blues midfielder gave an interview last month insisting Mudryk must realign his focus to bring the best out of himself.
And that included making some adaptations to his appearance.

"Mudryk, he needs to get his head right, he needs to – I was going to swear – he needs to f***ing get his head right because he's such a good player, pace, power, quick and good on the ball,” Mikel told The Obi One Podcast.
"But he needs to get his act right, he needs to forget about the whole hair, whatever, the tattoos no! Play f***ing football and win games."
Mudryk has now acted by shaving off his trademark blond curtains for a shorter trim as posted on his Instagram page on Monday.
After being alerted to the new look, Mikel was quick to give his seal of approval in a social media post, adding: "Let's go."
The winger will hope his new style will provide him with the impetus to kick on again next season as the Blues make their return to European competition.
Mudryk was a key component in Chelsea’s late-season winning run that saw them claim sixth spot in the league despite spending much of the campaign in the bottom half of the table.
