John Fury has admitted he will never speak to some of his family members who he feels have betrayed him.
Fury Sr's family clan have become hugely prominent in boxing, with son Tyson Fury having reigned as heavyweight world champion.
Tommy Fury, meanwhile, has fought in the influencer space in big fights against Jake Paul and KSI.
Fury Sr has become the figurehead of the family, regularly attending and promoting events involving his sons, and he is willing to do anything to protect his own.
But the former professional boxer has insisted there are unspecified names who he has elected to cut out from his life after disputes.
He said in an interview with Manchester Evening News: "Today we're in a different world. Time has moved on. I've moved on. I'm an old man now.

"I've learned better since, but back in the day, we all wanted to be survivors and winners.
"There's always a cost. It's documented. It's cost me a lot of jail time, a lot of ill feelings, a lot of non-talking.
"There's members of my family I'm never going to speak to ever again, through the life I've led, through the life they've led.
"The deceit, the backstabbing, listening to too many people that don't know what they're talking about. I'm guilty of that as well. So are they.
"But I'm a man who likes my own company. I've decided now that at this stage of the game, I'm a one-horse race.
"I'm out on my own. I don't bother nobody because the world has passed me by now."

Fury Sr has not specified names, and it is unclear exactly who he has cut off for good.
But he insists he is still a family man at heart and remains on good terms with others based in Manchester and Ireland.
He added: "I'm out with the horse and buggy and people don't believe you anyway because the people who believed in me, they're long gone.
"They're long gone. You know, you can ask certain people up and down who know John Fury in the Manchester area.
"They know what kind of character I've been. And I had a lot of respect for them, as they have for me. But today's men it's a different ball game, isn't it?"
The Fury dynasty is huge in boxing, and also features trainer Peter Fury who famously guided heavyweight king Tyson to his 2015 win over Wladimir Klitschko.
Fury Sr's nephew Hughie Fury also plies his trade in the heavyweight division, but has yet to match the accomplishments of the 'Gypsy King'.
It has been a mixed year for Fury Sr who saw his son Tyson fight for the undisputed titles against Oleksandr Usyk in Saudi Arabia.
But he watched on from the corner as the Briton was handed his first career defeat, losing on points and missing out on the chance to make history.
Elsewhere in the Fury clan, Tommy is currently out of action because he had hand surgery after his win over KSI in October.
And Roman Fury, another of John's sons, is making progress in the early stages of his career.

Roman moved to 4-0 with a win on the undercard of Anthony Joshua vs Francis Ngannou in Saudi Arabia on March 8.
John will likely be heavily involved in guiding his next steps.
