Burn has spells at Fulham and Brighton before eventually moving to his hometown club in 2022 in a £13million switch.

Soon after his arrival at St James’ Park, fans realised Burn was bizarrely missing a finger.

It was revealed the defender lost the finger in an accident when he was 13 when he climbed a fence whilst wearing a ring.

As he jumped down, the ring was caught on a spike leading to his finger being ripped off.

The 32-year-old has since gone on to forge a top-flight career with a few humorous moments thrown in for good measure.

And the towering centre-back had teammates in hysterics again at the club’s training camp in Germany.

Footage of Newcastle players browsing new gear at adidas HQ was shared on social media with a bizarre moment taking place.

Burn hilariously tried on a pair of goalkeeper gloves made for the conventional five fingers.

But with one finger missing, Burn brilliantly poked fun at himself by flicking the flimsy, unfilled finger back and forth, leaving teammates laughing uncontrollably.

It’s not the first time Burn has been the changing room joker. He famously performed a hilarious dance move in the changing room after Newcastle booked their place in the Carabao Cup final in 2023, which went viral.

Burn is gearing up for the new season in the hope his side can qualify for Europe as they did in the 2022/23 campaign.

The Magpies know their only hope of kicking on rest on keeping hold of their top stars with Bruno Guimaraes and Alexander Isak both attracting interest from other clubs.

Meanwhile, captain Kieran Trippier could be on his way out of the club with Newcastle ready to listen to offers for the 33-year-old.
