Fernando Alonso has already filmed a scene for Brad Pitt's Formula 1 movie - but an FIA blunder means he may end up in another.
The Spaniard finished outside the points after enduring a difficult race in Hungary following a 'gross error' which left him up against it.
The Aston Martin driver lined up seventh in Budapest before poor strategy saw him ultimately cross the line in eleventh place.
However, it could have been so different for Alonso had his efforts not been bizarrely hampered during F1's final qualifying session.
The 42-year-old was on a flying lap with just two minutes and 23 seconds left of Q3 when Yuki Tsunoda's crash brought out red flags.
The controversial decision meant all drivers had to abort their laps and Alonso was unable to clock a time after the session was halted.

The two-time world champion was particularly aggrieved after claiming that the FIA had broken a verbal agreement among teams.
According to Alonso, the FIA should have waved double yellows rather than a red flag, which wouldn't have penalised drivers who were long past the incident further down the track.
He told DAZN: “The truth is that the FIA sometimes gets it right and sometimes they make gross mistakes. Today they had made one.
“They put out the red flag when I was in the last corner, which is surprising. There was an accident at turn eight [five]. Normally they always wait for the cars to complete the lap. It’s the ‘spoken norm’.”
Worse was to follow, as the FIA mistakenly believed there wouldn't be time to restart qualifying so ushered several drivers into parc fermé.
Parc fermé, French for closed park, is where the FIA check the legality of the cars and restrict any extra work being done by team engineers.

Alonso was the first to be waved into the cordoned-off zone where onboard footage showed he pulled in behind the modified F2 car used for filming Hollywood actor Pitt's F1 movie, which is due to be released in 2025.
Alonso, who filmed a scene for the 2025 film in the media pen after the British Grand Prix, took its reappearance as a cue to exit his car.
The veteran removed his steering wheel and attempted to climb out of the cockpit before officials desperately realised their mistake.
Having cleared the debris from Tsunoda's crash, there was time for cars to get back to the line on track to start one last flying lap.
Unfortunately for Alonso and teammate Lance Stroll, they were in parc fermé so had no chance to change tyres like other drivers and have one last go at improving.
He added: "When we drove into the pits, Lance [Stroll] and I were put under parc ferme. But when we got out of the car, we were told that Q3 would be restarted.
"We got back in the car, buckled up again, but because I had no tyres left, I didn't go out again."
The whole ordeal saw Alonso's frustrations boil over and he was later seen remonstrating with an official as he headed to the weigh-ins.
In a clip shared on social media, Alonso threw both his jacket and cap on the ground in disgust in true Hollywood diva fashion.

He'll find out in June next year if the right cameras were on him. Pitt and crews from the Hollywood production have been seen at various races, the latest being Silverstone.
Filming is likely to wrap after the final race on the calendar in Abu Dhabi in December.
