Kasper Schmeichel has been lauded by Celtic fans for heroics to keep out Erling Haaland in his side's win over Man City.
The Hoops won 4-3 against Pep Guardiola's side at the Kenan Memorial Stadium in North Carolina, with summer signing Schmeichel the star of the show on his debut.
Schmeichel joined the Glasgow giants this month in a free transfer as a replacement for Joe Hart, who retired at the end of the previous campaign.
The veteran goalkeeper's debut against City - where he made ten appearances after coming up through their academy - lasted just 45 minutes as he was replaced at half-time with the score 3-1 in Celtic's favour.
During his time on the pitch he made two world class saves to deny Haaland - the first being an expert reaction save, before making another incredible stop to deny the Norwegian hitman's chipped effort.
Haaland eventually found the back of the net with a clinical header in the Denmark international's absence to level the game at 3-3, before Luis Palma scored Celtic's winner in the 68th minute.

And Schmeichel was quick to praise the City striker following the match after starting his Celtic career in the best possible fashion.
The 37-year-old told The Sporting News: "He's an absolute beast. He is one of the best strikers in the world without question.
"He has everything you want — he has pace, he has power, he has good movement, he has intelligence, he has incredible leap as you saw on his goal, so he's the complete package."
But it was the Leicester legend's quick reactions that proved to be the biggest talking point on social media, with fans having fun and getting carried away in the glee of beating City.
One Celtic fan, in a light hearted post on X wrote: "Not to make a snap judgement from a friendly, but Kasper Schmeichel is the best goalkeeper to ever play for this club."
Another messaged: "Kasper Schmeichel is gonna win us this league, isn't he? Massive presence on the pitch. Perfect replacement for Joe Hart."

A third added: "Kasper Schmeichel I was unfamiliar with your game, great signing."
This supporter then commented: "Not to speak to early but Kasper Schmeichel… it's looking good mate."
One then said: "Kasper Schmeichel life time contract, get it done."
Meanwhile another simply stated: "Kasper Schmeichel is still the real deal, man."
It perfectly summed up pre-season joy fans have before the season begins. It's a time where anything seems possible and dreams begin to swirl.
And Schemeichel, 37, seems ready for what the season throws at him. Upon joining Celtic, he said:
"Celtic is one of the world’s proper football clubs, a massive name and a place of real passion and success. Celtic is what football is all about."
The keeper is more known for his 11-year career at Leicester and was between the sticks when the club won an unlikely Premier League title in 2016.
He then won the 2021 FA Cup under Brendan Rodgers, who signed him at Celtic.
