But there's only one true international superstar for the United States as the 2024 Summer Olympics begin in Paris, and her name is Simone Biles.

But the Olympics only take over the globe every four years, which shows the awesome staying power of a gymnast who hasn't won a gold medal since 2016 in Rio.
Anyone who's watched the must-see Netflix documentary "Simone Biles: Rising" can attest to the fact that the 4ft 8in Biles seemingly stands 100ft tall when she's flying through the air and carrying the weight of history.
James just powered Team USA to two tight exhibition wins in London, blowing away coach Steve Kerr with his dedication and craftmanship as a 39-year-old.
The King will also carry the flag for the United States on Friday for the opening ceremony.

"He's just got such an incredible competitive spirit and confidence in the clutch," Kerr exclusively told talkSPORT. "As soon as he got out there, he went to work. ... He was brilliant."
But to many basketball fans, Michael Jordan is the all-time No. 1, James is a close No. 2, and that's just the way it is.

There is no historical comparison to Biles, who spends part of Episode 2 of Rising detailing the unbelievable complexity of gymnastic performances that are literally named after her.

Biles has created and athletically trademarked Biles on the vault, the Biles II and Biles on the floor.
Like James, Kevin Durant has a big name.
KD is the all-time leading scorer in US men's Olympics history and seeking a fourth gold medal in Paris.
But Durant knows that he's "got to" watch Biles in person.

“I want to go check her out," Durant said. "I’ve always been a fan of what she was doing.
"Introduced me to that sport, really. I wasn’t really paying attention much until she started doing her thing. ... Simone is somebody who set the tone for what a champion, an Olympian, a winner in life should be.”
Biles has four gold medals and seven Olympic medals overall.
With the sports world focusing on Paris for two weeks, Biles will be the biggest athletic name on the planet.
