Irish Olympian Rhys McClenaghan tests out ‘anti-sex beds’ at Paris Olympics and shows off the results
Randy Olympians have been given the all-clear to engage in casual hook-ups after the 'anti-sex bed' myth was debunked by Irish star Rhys McClenaghan.
Just like at the Tokyo 2020 Games, athletes in France will be sleeping on cardboard beds, which was rumoured to only hold the weight of one person.
It was alleged that should two people attempt to climb between the sheets together, then the cardboard structure would collapse.
But just like in Japan three years ago, gymnast McClenaghan has rubbished suggestion that the frame isn't strong enough after conducting his own research.
In a video shared on social media, the 25-year-old told his followers: "I’m at the Paris Olympic games and they once again have these cardboard 'anti-sex beds'.
"When I tested them the last time, they withstood my testing.

"Maybe I wasn’t rigorous enough, though.“
McClenaghan - a two-time wold pummel horse champion - then proceeded to jump on the bed, before performing handstands and front flips to showcase their sturdiness.
Concluding his rigorous investigation, he then stated: "No, they pass the test. It's fake, it's fake news!"
Athletes are known to engage in sexual relations with fellow Olympians at the Olympic village, with the 2016 Games in Brazil nicknamed 'Raunchy Rio'.
And in the 'City of Love' this summer, things promise to be no different.
It is believed that over 200,000 condoms will be available in the Olympic Village, with athletes to be given 20 each by Durex.

Though that is still less than half of the 450,000 condoms that were handed out in Rio, which saw Tinder matches soar up by 129 per cent in the Village.
The opening ceremony for the Paris Olympics takes place on Friday, though the action starts two days earlier on Wednesday with football, rugby sevens, handball and archery kicking things off.
